Dickster (real name Dick Trevor) is a force of trance nature, writing electronic music since the early 90s Goa trance days and standing as a seminal figure in the psytrance movement. His sound is built on funky complexity, mesmerising detail and unstoppable movement. He has worked under aliases including The Green Nuns, Bumbling Loons, Circuit Breakers and AAAH YEAH, and has mentored producers including GMS, Eskimo and Avalon.
Big Dave stumbled upon a life-altering symphony of sound on the shores of Kariotahi Beach, New Zealand's west coast - the ethereal realm of psychedelic trance. From that serendipitous moment, the course of his life was forever charted in the vibrant waves of electronic music.
Big Dave's quest for sonic enlightenment led him across the globe to the heart of the UK, where he immersed himself in a three-year odyssey through the London underground scene. Here, he found himself at the heart of the action, dancing under the stars at outdoor raves and experiencing the raw energy of illegal ("squat") parties. Amidst the chaos and beats, he forged lifelong connections with fellow music devotees.
