AYUSH WALIA is a multifaceted electronic music artist based in Wellington, New Zealand, best known for his night-time psytrance and forest DJ project SAPIAN, as well as his psytech and dark/forest progressive project ELUVEITIE. He is signed to Digital Shiva Power & Constant Loop Music.
Originally from the northern Himalayan region of Himachal Pradesh, India, Ayush's early years were spent amidst the mountains. His passion for electronic music ignited in his early teens, evolving into a deep love for psychedelic sounds by 2010.
SAPIAN’s sound is defined by dark, energetic, and driving rhythms—blending powerful, bouncy, and groovy melodies with wicked psychedelic kicks. In contrast, ELUVEITIE offers a more introspective journey: deep atmospheric basslines, hypnotic rhythms, and organic textures that echo a mysterious forest ambiance.
A seasoned performer on the global festival circuit, Ayush has played renowned events and venues including House of Chapora (IN), Pirates of Parvati (IN), Twisted Frequency (NZ), Lost in Paradise (NZ), Yatra (NZ), Dimension Festival (NZ), Rolling Hertz (NZ), Mycelia Events (NZ), and Moksha (NZ), among others.
