But the real start of his DJ career began in New Zealand, his home since over 5 years. By now he has been giving plenty of gigs in New Zealand and some over seas back in Germany, always with the same result: a blast on the dancefloor.

Big Dave stumbled upon a life-altering symphony of sound on the shores of Kariotahi Beach, New Zealand's west coast - the ethereal realm of psychedelic trance. From that serendipitous moment, the course of his life was forever charted in the vibrant waves of electronic music.

Big Dave's quest for sonic enlightenment led him across the globe to the heart of the UK, where he immersed himself in a three-year odyssey through the London underground scene. Here, he found himself at the heart of the action, dancing under the stars at outdoor raves and experiencing the raw energy of illegal ("squat") parties. Amidst the chaos and beats, he forged lifelong connections with fellow music devotees.
